Slipways in Marmaris

Yacht industry significantly developed in Marmaris. Most of the shipyards located in the Yalancı Boğaz area provide services for construction, repair and maintenance for all types of yachts. The mobil crane and other facilities give the opportunity of wintering on land and maintenance for many yachts in the slipways of the area. The important ones are listed below.

Marmarin

Marmarin is both a slipway and a marina. ın front of Marmarin, there is a newly built 200m. long breakwater, and inside the breakwater there are 2 piers enabling shelter for 50-60 yachts for every kind of weather condition. For the yachts, there is an apart hotel with 40 room capacity, bar, restaurant and swimming pool. It has a 40 ton mobile crane and chandlers. 300 yachts can winter on land. Engine works, carpentry, painting and repair works can be done in the workshops.

Yat Marin

It is in Yalancı Boğazı in Marmaris. It is a joint operation with Marmarin. Yat marin has a capacity for 100 yachts on sea, 650 yachts on land. It has three different cranes: 330/70/50 tons. There is a bar, reataurant, cafe, swimming pool, yacht equipment shop and wide choice of repair workshops.

SunSail

For sail boats mostly, it has the possibility of hard standing for 200 small and middle size boats. At the entrance to Marmaris in the industrial area(Sanayi) there numerous repair shops where one can find spare parts and all sorts of engine, electricity, lathe, and welding and stainless steel workshops.
