Yacht Festival and Races in Marmaris

The international Marmaris yacht festival is organized in may at the Marmaris Marina every year. The international Marmaris Yacht Race Week is in November at the Marmaris Marina. The International Marmaris Yacht Festival is one of the few activities among the port organizations in the Mediterranean and Turkey has sustained its continuity for more than 25 years. The festival area is set up on the breakwater at the Marmaris Municipality Marina where the boats are tied up easily.

The festival organized in May means the beginning of the season for yachts. Visitors and participants both relax and enjoy themselves in the week long activities. The introductory tour at the end of the festival s open to all agencies.

The results of the day are evaluated and announced every night and a prize ceremony is organized. The carefully prepared food, drinks and live music make these nights unforgettable and the races end with the closing night where the best receive their prizes.
